.::Saturday, February 14, 2004 it seems that love is in the air today...couples goin out...sight seeing through the nite...but wats the diff abt today???...isnt it ironic how that out of the 365days only choose one to dedicate to love??? or even friendship....its not that i m against that...its just that wat is so special abt 1402 every yr???...is it just a fad whereby its just a yearly thingy or what???...and further more...if you guyz hardly noticed it is durin this time of yr that things printed with the words "I love you" is bein practically sold everywhere and roses and pretty flowers are sold at a low price that even a pri sch kids pocket money is enough to buy one...what is the hype of this day???...therefor i put to you...is love just a gimmick to start a business???...is love just a reason to take someone out for a stroll in a park...therefore is love just meant for one day???
now you see its not that i dun mind abt commemorating a day for love/friendship...just like christmas....easter....and i noe i may be contradictin my earlier point...but wat i m gettin here is that love is not just meant for one day...and love is not just a feelin...not just a want...not just a desire...it is never all of those...
therefore where am i gettin at you may wonder...and i wonder myself too...but i feel rite now is that i really dun feel much hype abt 1402...coz friendship is something we emulate everyday...love is also somethin we show everyday...and i guess if we perform an act of love only on this day...but not for the rest of the 320 days left in the yr...therefore i qn your reason for lovin someone today...
there is this thing that on this day...ppl wanna give the greatest gift of love to someone...but tell ya guyz somethin...no one no matter wat you say can give the greatest gift of love...be it a song...a poem...a nice candle light dinner... a nite by the sea side and gazin at the stars...a ring...a rose...a diamond ring....a necklace...no none of this can add up to the greatest gift of love...because although by mans standard this things worth a lot...but to the greatest giver of all....this things are mere rags that are worthless....so therefore no one...not one and not even me can say i hv given the greatest gift of love coz i m no where short of it...
so what is the greatest gift of love???well its the gift of salvation that God above has given...and i believe it is...that there is no other love that surpasses the love He has given to us...well think abt...has there been anyone or anythin(knowin that we are materialistic beings nowadays) that you believe has given love so encouragin that gives us hope for today and tomorrow???...but abt 1402...think abt it...wat does it really mean abt commemoratin love/friendship....is it really impt after all to show all your love in just one day???...then watabout the rest of the yr???...are you still gonna be lovin???....then howbout friendship...what really does make a friend a friend???...just a day of givin sweets and chocs....well think abt it...
and i leave this with you...and i noe some of you may hv heard me share this to you in class...but its nothin wrong in sayin it again...

well if love is all this....then hv we really loved???...think abt it....coz as far as i noe i hv not...and mind you...if you dun fulfill one...you dont fulfill all...coz this is one whole continual paragraph with a fullstop in the end...so think abt it...and i challenge you to weigh yourself if you really hv loved...
