i wouldnt say that i m after all a perfect person...i wouldnt say that i hv attained the status of a know it all person who has experienced every aspect of life...i would never even say that i know everything...i m not God for he is the all knowing...we seldom realise the interconnectivity of life...that we fail to see how our words our thoughts our actions do to ppl...becoz we think of ourselves b4 others...we fail to think of others feelins and say the things we think are alrite to say but may hurt others in the same way...i noe wat its like to do dat becoz i hv done it b4...we all know our lives dont revolve ard ourselves...that wherever we go we affect ppl...by the way we talk, act...it can easily change one persons day from a happy one to somethin not worth living...havent you experienced a day whereby it was spoiled becoz of an event that happened...i mean take me for an example...ppl who noe me well noe my expectations when it comes to service(esp in restaurants or even the fast food outlets)....sometimes this ppl who work in this places fail to realise how they serve someone will either make em enjoy their meal or make them get worked up for no reason of how lousy they served...this is a simple illustration to show how unaware ppl r...their failure to see their little actions coursing in others lives...now you may wonder why do i speak abt this...its becoz this simple thought is somethin ppl dont even noe...its sometimes the simplest of things that get complicated...becoz of the environment, the way we are, the ppl ard us...ya...its like dat...life is always like dat...it always gets complicated...like unravalling a tangled rope....ppl seldom realise the consequences of action...i m beginning to feel the bite of my actions...i hv this feelin dat if i had only worked harder in the beginnin i wouldnt be in this mess...i mean u guys noe lar...everythin we do will hv consequences...now away frm the micro level coz that is another topic...coz wat i m talkin abt is the macro level...the level whereby many of us r blind too...i noe i may just be rambling but this is a truth we all shd noe...coz we are after all just ppl walkin on this earth...i read in a bk entitled 5ppl u meet in heaven(not spelt dat way lar...)...but in one of the chapters there is this description of one of the character this person meets...that becoz of his ball or wat lar that he had to go to the street and get somethin which involved him almost bein knocked down...and in doin so it gave a fright to the man on the wheel that even though he never knew this person but as their paths crossed the consequence of the fright of almost knockin down a boy caused him his life...he died of a heart attack of course...alone...ya...who noes maybe the nxt person u talk to or wat on the street maybe the first or last time you may talk to the person...dats the whole thing abt interconnectivity...the lives we "play" or the lives we influence...the lives we touch...
It seems so simple to say all this at times...but i do wonder sometimes how we affect ppl ard us...its interesting coz we see ppl everyday...we cross ppls paths everyday...but do you ever wonder wat happens to them in the end...do u ever wonder wat diff u could hv made in this ppl...not sayin you hv to go out every time to ppl and become a nuisance...it is usually simple acts...acts that really move ppl then the words you say...becoz tell me i mean if u lived in s'pore...how often do you see complete strangers talk small talk on a train or a bus...never...and usually simple acts to tick ppl off...i mean there r those ppl who lean on the hand rails...and i do wonder if they ever thought how many ppl are at a risk of fallin becoz of nothin to hold on to...anyway...i feel i m repeatin myself...ya...so i better stop...anyway wanna share this with ya ppl and to think abt it...i was in a seminar 2wks ago and had this speaker talk abt stuff and he did reveal somethin interesting...and i hope u too think abt it...he spoke abt the MOE...ministry of education...and its drive to emphasise creativity...and he suggested that they change their slogan first...hv u ever seen schs bein built and there is this big slogan on the fencin sayin "Ministry of Education Moulding our future" (somethin like dat but want a clearer view look for schs bein built at the moment....)..its an irony how to ay....coz when u say mould wats the pic u get....i mean think abt it...mould...who r they to mould us...i mean when u mould u shape rite...so is that wat the moe is doin...shapin us to become some product always is the same...ya...think abt it...wil discuss itt soon.....
